Polypropylene tips are manufactured under stringent
specifications using quality control procedures that ensure straight,
contamination-free, and leakproof pipet tips. Barrier tips reduce the
possibility of cross-contamination from aerosols. Nonpyrogenic tips are
used for endotoxin and other assays requiring the ultimate in bacterial
