The cap mats are engineered to tightly seal a deep well plate and minimize moisture exchange. They are alphanumerically labeled to make sample identification easy.

The seal-and-sample aluminum foil lids provide a unique solution for multiwell plate sealing. Made of special aluminum foil with a bioinert adhesive backing, the foil lids are presized for titer-plate sealing at temperature extremes from –80 to 130°C (–112 to 266°F). These seal-and-sample foil lids can be easily punctured by automated or manually-operated pipet tips to remove sample material from plate wells, eliminating the potential for aerosols and cross-contamination that can result when removing other types of plate-sealing lids. A 10.2cm (4") rubber roller is also available for easy lid placement and to ensure complete sealing.
