| High-resolution analytical balances
feature a multicolor touch screen that guides the user
for secure and ergonomic weighing of small sample sizes.
They also deliver all the statistics needed for Good
Laboratory Practice.
Balances are outfitted with a unique combination of
features. Fully automatic internal calibration (proFACT)
comes with history function, initiated by time and/or
when the ambient temperature changes by either 1, 2, or
3°C. Three models feature DeltaRange* capabilities,
which delivers ten times the readability anywhere within
the balance range just by taring. Operating menu can be
viewed in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian,
Russian, and Japanese. The operating software can be
upgraded from the Internet. All models will display 12
different weighing units and available applications
include statistics, formulation, piece counting, percent
weighing, and density. Settings can be password
protected. The level and the minimum weight per USP can
be monitored by user.
All models feature the unique SmartGrid* weighing
pan, which is supported at the rear of the weighing
chamber, for more efficient weighing. The SmartGrid
weighing pan has only minimal solid area to minimize
buoyancy caused by turbulance, shortening stabilization
time for faster results. In combination with the
optional weighing kit (11276-932), which includes
ErgoClips*, the SmartGrid weighing pan becomes an
ergonomic weighing system that can be precisely adapted
to specific tasks and can help to increase productivity.
ErgoClips click securely onto the grid weighing pan and
can hold round-bottom flasks, test tubes, plastic tubes,
and more.
Each model features stainless steel pan, color
display with touch screen operation, sensors for
hands-free operation, protective cover for terminal and
weighing platform, and feedthrough for below-the-balance
weighing. Peripherals can be connected via the built-in
RS-232 interface or an optional second interface
(purchased separately). The following optional
interfaces are available: Bluetooth (wireless),
Ethernet, PS/2, USB, LocalCAN*, or MiniMettler. Contact
your VWR sales representative for more information.
For operation from 5 to 40°C (41 to 104°F) and
between 25% and 80% relative humidity. Electrical:
