A personal gamma dosimeter for easy use and quick readout. Attain improved personal safety while working with radionuclides and ionizing radiation sources.  Ensures personal safety via constant dose and dose rate control with instant alarms if hazard levels are encountered.  Early warning of possible radiation presence or exposure.

Features

The PM1610 Personal Dosimeter is perfect for those working with or around X-ray or gamma radioactive materials. The PM1610 can will precisely measure ambient dose equivalent H*(10) and ambient dose rate H*(10).

The PM1610 performs the following functions:

•  Continuous monitoring and measuring of the ambient gamma dose and dose rate;

•  User alert of hazardous situations with an audible, visual or vibrating alarm;

•  Recording and storing data for up to 4000 events in its non-volatile memory;

•  Transmitting all recorded data via USB to a PC for further processing and analysis.

To protect users from overexposure, the dosimeter has multiple alarm thresholds.  If the pre-set dose and dose rate thresholds are exceeded, the dosimeter immediately alerts the user of the danger of radiation.

Applications

• Individual Protection

• Health, Physics, Medicine

• Customs and Border Patrol

• Uranium / Nuclear Fuel Production
